Eligibility checklist

To find out whether your case fits our criteria, complete the checklist below. If you cannot tick every box, the Fund is not for you. First choose your profile.

• Are you based in Quebec or elsewhere in Canada?
• Have you suffered lost income, a closure, a sanction or harm as a result of an administrative, regulatory or judicial decision you consider abusive?
• Does your case relate directly to your activity as an entrepreneur, self-employed worker or business owner?
• Do you already have a lawyer, or a lawyer ready to take your case?
• Do you have a clear view of the outcome you are seeking (annulment, compensation, change of practice)?
• Do you have an estimate of the legal costs, taxes included?
• Without help, would you be unable to fund this case?
• Have you exhausted the applicable internal or administrative remedies (review, complaint, appeal)?

The Fund does not provide legal advice and does not intervene in the conduct of your case. All correspondence must be between the Fund and the applicant or their lawyer.
